Insurance

Sant'Anna Institute strongly recommends that all students are personally insured against illness and accident. Contact your local insurance company to ask whether your personal insurance is valid abroad; otherwise purchase travel insurance. Members of national health insurance-companies in EU countries should have the E111 form to obtain free health service in Italy. Theft coverage is often included in personal insurance; if not, we suggest you purchase coverage for your stay in Italy to be on the safe side.

Arrival Details

Prior to the students’ departure, we provide them with all the pertinent information needed; i.e. direction to their apartment, family’s house or hotel, the direction to the Sant'Anna Institute school, a 24-hour information / emergency contact telephone number with the name of someone they can contact if any problems arise, etc. We encourage all of our students to arrive the Sunday before their first day of class. Students should reconfirm reservations 72 hours before departure, arrive at the airport early, and leave their itinerary, flight numbers and contact details with their family.
